This was one of the other photos i choose to edit as i thought it was one of the better ones out of the many i took. When i edited it i increased the saturation of the photo, so her white face would stand out and it would give the color of this photo a 'pop'. I decided not to choose this photo as it would take a lot of time having to crop around the image and change the background. Also with her hair being messy and backcombed, it would make it hard to crop around all the full detail. As well there is a lot of space around the image, and finding features to fill this in would make the front cover very messy and un-tidy, so i decided not to use this one.

This was another photo i chose to edit amongst all the others. When i edited this image i increased the adaptive lighting so it would bring the darker bits out around her eyes and the cuts either side of her mouth would show more. This photo is good, because it's a different pose to what people on typical magazines would be doing, and this makes it more edgy. I chose not to use this photo because like before, the image would be two difficult to cut out because of the wires and her messy hair. Also it doesn't focus on the artist as much as it should for a front cover, as well the props that i have used, such as the speaker, you can not see them as much, and it does not give the same effect as it would do if they were in total view to the audience.

This was another photo i chose to edit out of all the others i took. I edited it by increasing the exposure in the photo and increasing the contrast so it makes the color more birght on the whole page, also it makes the background whiter so it would of made it easier to edit for me. The reason why i did not choose this photo is because of the person not making eye contact with the camera, all front cover images normally have an artist/artists making eye contact with the camera so it looks like they are looking out to the audience reading the magazine.
